FSGs are
designed to monitor and display Choke & Kill, and Standpipe
manifold pressures. Each system consists of high resolution,
8" analogue pressure gauges, which have consistently proved
their worth during Well Control incidents. VIEW
ANIMATION
The gauge sets
are typically housed in a stainless steel panel and mounted
close to the rig’s choke control panel. Alternatively,
gauges can also be incorporated directly into choke
panels. The gauge set can be arranged either horizontally
or vertically, examples are shown in EFC literature.
Displays are certified intrinsically safe and are suitable for
Class 1 Div 1 (Zone 1) applications without the need for
purging.
Additional slave gauge sets can
be mounted on the manifold itself without the need for
additional sensors, very useful in the case of failure of remote
choke control
