Single Instruments

Datasheet (pdf 872kb)

A full range of drilling instruments is offered, either as single units or as combined systems.  EFC's client focused design philosophy allows all variations of integration.

A Driller's Console is pictured right, this includes the following combination, all of which are available as single units if required:

  • Flow Show, a 0-100% analogue gauge with high/low alarm.
  • Rotary Table/Top Drive RPM, analogue gauge receiving signals from top drive
  • Rotary Table/Top Drive Torque, analogue gauge receiving signals from top drive
  • Trip Tank
  • PVT, Total Volume and Gain/Loss
  • PSC, Pump Stroke Counter

Trip Tank Monitor & Recorder

The Trip Tank Monitor provides the driller with a real time display of trip tank mud volume on a 6" analogue meter.

Trip tank mud volume is also recorded on a chart recorder with a rotation period of 12 Hours, or to suit.

Two 3-position switches allow the user to set High and Low alarm set points at any time. Visual and audible alarm indication is provided via high and low alarm LEDs and an external intrinsically safe alarm sounder.

All systems and component equipment is designed and manufactured to operate in Zone 1 areas as required.
